Orlando Elopement at Leu Gardens

A+T’s Orlando Elopement at Leu Gardens was absolutely perfect! We started the day by meeting at their hotel for getting ready photos. A+T wanted to keep the tradition of not seeing each other until their ceremony so they got ready in separate rooms. Once everyone was ready, T and his brothers drove off to Leu Gardens while A rode in a car with her mom and dad.

The Ceremony

Leu Gardens provided a bridal suite for A to finish changing into her dress while A+T’s family gathered at the ceremony spot. The ceremony location was surrounded by lush tropical plants with a beautiful white pergola. A family friend played acoustic guitar leading up to A’s entrance with her dad. Each part of A+T’s wedding was so personal and I absolutely loved it!

We lucked out with beautiful weather during the ceremony. During the drive to the gardens and even after arriving while A got ready in her dress the rain was still coming down. Just 5 minutes before A walked down the aisle the clouds parted and the rain stopped! Florida weather can be sporadic but it rarely stays the same way for long. If the forecast says rain, it often will pass in a half hour or so.

Exploring the Gardens

After A+T said “I do” we took time for family photos before going off into the gardens to explore and take photos of the new Mr. and Mrs.. Leu Gardens is 50 acres of lush tropical gardens in the heart of Orlando. It is beautiful year round and also super close to local restaurants and other fun activities.

We chose to head to the rose garden first to take photos with the amazing fountain there before heading to a path lined with oak trees dripping with Spanish moss. We had a great time following the meandering paths, discovering new areas of the garden, getting turned around, and eventually finding our way again. Map, who?

Reception

After we were done exploring the gardens A+T joined their family at a local restaurant for a late lunch. Instead of a traditional reception they enjoyed a sit down meal so that they could relax. One of my favorite things about elopements is how you are truly able to craft a day that you will actually enjoy. Don’t want the pageantry of a reception? Don’t have one. Want to include your family? Do it! There is no right or wrong answer when it comes to planning your day!

WELCOME

My name is Jessica and I am the dreamer behind Jessica Lauren Photography! When I’m not behind the camera I love spending time with my dog hiking, out on my paddle board, or getting some quality time with my husband while we explore local events. I love spending time on the coast no matter which side of the U.S. I’m on and I’m always chasing that perfect sunset.
