Recently I visited a deceivingly new(ish) wedding venue in downtown Orlando’s Church Street Station area. Orchid Garden is a lavish building with beautiful stained glass windows, iron details, and beautiful scrollwork. The entrance is through a cast iron gate, entering upon a paved courtyard, string lights hanging just above. This courtyard area is where cocktail hour normally happens while the inside ceremony area is converted into the reception.

The indoor ceremony/reception area is breathtaking the moment you enter. A mixture of white latticework, dark wood, and iron chandeliers will make you feel as though you have been transported into the 1920s French Quarter.

The upstairs of Orchid Garden serves as the dinner area. Tables are put out along the side walkways and the sweetheart table for the bride and groom is usually placed on the indoor balcony.

Last but not least is the bridal suite! The bridal suite has some comfy chairs, sinks and a HUGE mirror for getting ready in. Grooms will need to get ready elsewhere, this is just for the ladies!
